Focus on problem prevention, supplier quality control, continuous improvement, data collection and reporting, along with Supplier Corrective and Preventative Action related to material quality issues.
Manage Material Inspection Plans and methods on production material.
Work with incoming inspection, Harris suppliers and Harris purchasing to ensure a continuous supply of quality material is available to Harris manufacturing to meet production demands.
Investigate and analyze material issues when identified in Harris Operations to drive Root Case and Preventative/Corrective Actions.
Minimum of 2 year post-secondary/ AA-AS degree plus 2+ years’ experience OR High School/ Secondary education plus 6+ Years’ experience.
Minimum of 2 years' demonstrated knowledge of statistical process control, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, Measurement System analysis, Process Capability Studies, Corrective & Preventative Action, Root Cause Analysis.
Minimum of 2 years' proficiency in various measurement techniques and equipment (i.e calipers, gages, Vision Systems, Coordinate Measurement Machines, Spectrum Analyzers)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience analyzing and compiling data in a graphical format.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Previous Quality experience is preferred
Excellent writing, communication, and team skills.
Efficient use and application of MS Office.
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and can work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize, manage time, meet deadlines, and function with minimal supervision.
