Job Description:

Responsible for managing the cost, revenue, cash, schedule requirements of large, complex DoD programs through all phases from proposal to period of performance completion. Ensures that all resources such as engineering, manpower, subcontracts, and line items are available to support internal and external delivery targets. Involved in defining deliverables, and guiding internals teams. Formulates and executes long term plans for cost/profit control. Assists Sales team to secure new orders, formulate requirements, and help expedite orders. Works with customers to determine needs, requirements and new business opportunities. Provide strategic leadership for program management activities.

Communicates within and outside of the organization on matters of strategic importance to influence senior leadership to accept new practices and approaches, and concepts. Develops or champions new concepts or technologies. Directs the execution of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the short-to mid-term functional area results. Requires advanced management and cross functional leadership knowledge and mastery level knowledge within a specific technical or broad expertise across multiple related disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of related experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Technical background preferred

  • Experience in using advanced application of technical and business principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical and business problems

  • Previous experience managing large, complex programs including development or system integration
