The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility’s structure, equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This position performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting in construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls or office fixtures. The facilities technician makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. May schedule or oversee, perform and /or arrange for subcontractors to complete maintenance or original work assignments. May require knowledge of applicable standards of regulations. Works on complex assignments requiring judgement and initiative.
Must have 10-15 years of working knowledge/experience in industrial maintenance.
Must be certified on proper refrigerant practices.
Must be licensed industrial electrician. (Three Phase)
Must have 10-15 years of skills in industrial electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, energy management systems, heat pumps and boilers.
Must have decent work ethic and attitude may act as team lead.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge in wiring motors.
General knowledge of compressed air systems.
Ability to interpret building drawings. Knowledge of Auto Cad.
General knowledge of VOIP phones and network systems.
Knowledge on door hardware and ability to repair and install all types.
Knowledge in plumbing and ability to make repairs in all aspects of trade.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision and all levels of people within a company including subordinates.
Capable of making recommendations for solutions
