Job Description

  • Configuration Management - Designs and establishes configuration management documentation. Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system. Establishes baselines. Supports program audits

  • Complete SW Builds

  • Perform scripting (Perl) needed to support existing CM toolset and tool integration

  • Performs schema development and maintenance

  • Perform administration and user support for CM toolset

  • Authorizes the release of drawings, software builds and changes specified by Program or Engineering.

  • Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.

  • Acts as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation.

  • Performs audits to verify compliance with contract requirements

  • Prepare CM Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for task orders and proposals

  • Perform as CM lead on various program assignments


  • Perl scripting experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Familiar with PTC Integrity helpful

  • Familiar with WindRiver VxWorks, Microsoft C++ Familiar with RavenPPC Ada and Atego ObjectAda helpful, but not required

  • Working knowledge of the following tools: Agile PDM, JIRA, SVN, ClearQuest, ClearCase, GIT/STASH

  • Proven ability to define and implement Software & Hardware Configuration Management processes in an enterprise environment.

  • Self directed and driven work ethic.

  • Familiarity with CMMI Level 3 requirements.

  • Electronic Warfare experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be able to present complex material to an audience of various skill levels, from novice to expert.

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with business development, program management personnel and external customers.

  • Ability to work as a team member and also by yourself.
