Lead Team of Procurement buyers for products and services for government and commercial programs
Oversee team’s development and management of RFQ/RFP process, negotiation agreements and management of the contract for medium to complex sourcing requirements.
Assist team, as necessary in, evaluation of bids and supplier selection based on price, delivery, quality, and service to obtain best overall value for Harris.
Utilize MRP systems, PeopleSoft financial system, Supplier Rating System, RI Web Applications, and Supplier Net applications.
Acts as a primary Harris point of contact to manage overall relationships with critical suppliers in order to facilitate long-term partnerships.
Interface closely with Program Teams on strategic efforts surrounding critical requirements, risks and opportunities, and supply chain challenges and initiatives
Interprets FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules and regulations regarding import/export control certifications and licenses.
Lead and Motivate team to support key initiatives and programs, career development opportunities and change management.
Meets established goals, objectives, and performance metrics and solves problems of increased scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
Confers with suppliers to determine factors that affect competitive total cost of ownership consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Evaluate root cause and corrective action with suppliers on late delivery performance.
Builds stable working relationships with manufacturing, quality engineers, material management and program office regarding procurement demands by early involvement with programs and suppliers to determine risk mitigation actions for critical path parts.
- Bachelor's Degree and9+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent

Ability to follow through with work assignments, shows dedication to producing work of the highest quality and strong skills in driving tasks to closure
