Harris Corporation Space and Intelligence Systems has an opening for a Lead, RF Engineering to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palm Bay, Florida. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9+ years of RF engineering experience OR
Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 7+ years of RF engineering experience
An active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance with SSBI
The ability to obtain and maintain program access
5+ years of RF concept/architect/design experience on space platforms
5+ years of RF analysis, board design, and test experience
3+ years of Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) and Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) design
Experience with the entire lifecycle of military RF product development from proposal and requirements, development, production, installation and acceptance
Experience with Electromagnetic (EM) simulation software using Finite Element Method (FEM) like Ansys HFSS
Ability to work in a team environment; work closely with the engineering teams through design, implementation, integration, and testing the signal processing and communication implementation and performances
Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
