Lead and coordinate Electronic Systems university research program
Lead and coordinate Electronic Systems Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) / Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program
Drive cross-business unit technology & IRAD sharing opportunities
Coordinate semi-annual seedling technology ideas call selection process
Coordinate semi-annual identification and refresh of segment technology focus areas for ideas call
Manage seedling execution and lead project transition to business units
Manage seedling, university, & strategic IRAD projects execution and budget
Complete annual technology disruptors analysis and encourage linkage to seedling, university, and strategic IRAD projects
Assist in development of technology roadmaps
Research and assess industry external innovation and technology trends
Lead internal Technology initiatives such as the Technology Expo
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Software or Systems Engineering (or similar technical discipline)
9+ years of related experience (or 7+ years with a Master’s degree)
3+ years of project engineering / project management experience
Preferred/Additional Skills :
Experience with Government contracting, proposal writing, and the business acquisition process
Able to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Experience developing CONOPS and Use Cases
Able to manage risk and opportunity with internal and external customers and work with technical team to identify, mitigate and close program/project risks
A passion for technology and for driving innovation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical environment; Able to interact, anticipate and respond quickly to stakeholders; Able to quickly network across multiple business units and geographical locations
Work multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing situations
