Job Description

The Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) Senior Specialist will be based in Melbourne, Florida and report to the Customer Engagement and Advocacy Manager on the Global Business Development team. The position will serve as the corporate subject matter expert on CRM. The role offers the opportunity to expand knowledge across all 3 of Harris’ business segments and increase understanding of major strategic focus areas. Responsibilities include:


  • Gather voice of the customer through round tables and 1:1’s with key users

  • Identify process enhancements and drive consistent cross segment best practices

  • Actively manage CRM roadmap for front end (sales and BD) and coordinate with other functions for CRM usage (other than sales &BD)

  • Collaborate with IT on project execution including setting priorities and desired project outcomes

  • Chair change boards and serve as the corporate lead for tool modifications

  • Serve as the corporate POC for opportunities and understand segment pipeline including progress and major changes

  • Serve as the liaison with other key functions including Investor Relations, Corporate Finance and GBD team on cross segment regional opportunity roll-ups

  • Create a corporate and regional dashboard for better insight and opportunity management

  • Create and run reports, provide analytics support for regional SGP creation

  • Collaborate with segment CRM leads and improve cross segment information sharing

  • Drive tool adoption and efficiencies by identifying and implementing new or modified processes

  • Determine best use for customer engagement tracking, create process and roll out (first as a pilot then corporate wide)


  • BS degree and a minimum of6 years' experience analyzing opportunities, customers and competition in B2G and B2B environments

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • MBA or MS in business or a PMP is a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamic CRM

  • Understanding of sales and business development processes

  • Working knowledge of the business acquisition processes used at Harris, preferred

  • Candidate should have positive attitude, self-starter, strong project management skills and be able to collaborate with different segments through influence and not positional power
