J ob Description :

  • Actively maintain the overall strategy and rolling 12-month internal audit plan

  • Independently and objectively plan and execute audits in accordance with professional auditing standards

  • Develop and implement audit programs using schemes and known risks for an area in a proactive way to ensure "prevent" controls are effective, or if not, exceptions are detected early

  • Develop budget estimates and manage work procedures

  • Perform research of guidance and best practices for fraud and anti-bribery program

  • Prepare formal written scope and approach memos, strategy documents, work papers, memos and reports, documenting work performed and conclusions reached

  • Effectively interact with and communicate results to management

  • Lead, coordinate, mentor, and oversee the activities of the audit team

  • Perform anti-corruption audits (e.g., FCPA compliance) at domestic and international locations with emphasis on a forensic auditing approach

  • Perform special reviews or internal investigations at the request of Management, the Business Conduct Office or Legal

  • Continuously communicate and collaborate with business partners to ensure Internal Audit is abreast of most critical risks and is providing value to business partners

  • Travel up to 35%; including international locations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

  • Minimum of 9 years of prior forensic auditing/accounting experience

  • Experience leading audits and interfacing with all levels of management

  • Experience assessing business process risks and internal controls

  • Experience with data analytics and electronic working papers

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Multi-lingual

  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
