The Enterprise Operations Manager is responsible for meeting the daily operational and migration goals for multiple programs on a Harris network. This position is responsible for providing oversight of Network Operations Center (NOC) staff and facilities. The Enterprise Operations Manager will also serve as the technical lead for proposal efforts, including creation of a technical baseline, cost determination, Basis of Estimate (BOE)/Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate, and technical writing required for design reviews and new business opportunities for the enterprise.
Drive employee engagement and team success through Gemba process (daily huddle meetings with the NOC team(s))
Maintain responsibility for succession planning, organizational and talent development
Hold the team accountable to achieve business plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Provide leadership oversight of a team of 40+ with a diverse skillset
Plan, organize, and prioritize daily production goals
Customer communication with success
Author and revision management of Operational artifacts such as: Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Stakeholder in the Change Control Board (CCB)/Change Advisory Board (CAB), Program Metric Reviews, and Contingency Disaster Recovery Management Team (CDRMT), Operational Level Agreements
Will also have Cost Account Manager responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree (required); Master’s Degree (preferred)
Minimum of 6 years of network operations and/or engineering experience
Minimum of 4 years of operations/engineering leadership experience
Root Cause Analysis experience
Multi-disciplinary operations experience in Network Operations, NMS tools (e.g. CA Spectrum, CA Performance Center, Remedy), and Change Management
On-call hierarchical escalation support is required 24/7
Industry Certifications related to Cisco Routing and Switching or Service Provider highly preferred (e.g. CCNA, CCNP)
ITIL v3 certification, Six Sigma
