Job Description :

Harris CHQ has an opening for a Business Analyst supporting the Quality and Harris Business Excellence (HBX) group. This two to three-year rotation will provide the candidate with a full view of the corporation while learning first-hand how HBX is deployed. This team member will have the opportunity to earn HBX certifications while learning from Certified Black Belts and Cross Segment Deployment Champions.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Quality and HBX and will allow strong networking opportunities through all business segments and various corporate functions including FP&A, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering.

The HBX team deploys strategy by focusing on continuous improvement, quality, business breakthroughs, kaizen methodology, and team development within our business units. We strive for operational excellence across all functional areas and processes by deploying Lean tools and Six Sigma principles. This position plays an active role in supporting the strategy and deployment of HBX with emphasis on data and trend analysis.

In this position you will:

  • Support Strategic Growth and Annual Operating Plans

  • Compile monthly and quarterly operations and productivity data

  • Assist in executive level presentations including Monthly Operations, Functional Quarterly and Harris Board of Directors reviews

  • Help create and update HBX standard work including tools, training, and templates

  • Manage HBX and Quality Websites

  • Assist in publishing communications on behalf of the organization

  • Help drive data gathering and automation for dashboards

  • Support deployment of the HBX Operating System

  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance or related discipline

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build a business case, analyze the results and effectively communicate the status/outcome.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Project, PowerPoint with emphasis on Excel including Pivot and Lookup tables

  • SharePoint

  • Knowledge of VBA programming a plus
