Our supply chain Center of Excellence (CoE) is a high visibility team at Harris Corporation with the purpose of enabling strategic tools and delivering best-in-class results through its partnerships with the Harris business segments. Within the CoE, the eSourcing team has responsibility for developing the process and tools to drive $900M+ spend through the implementation of an eAuction platform. Responsibilities include:
Establish a strong network and foster collaboration among IT, key internal stakeholders and suppliers, and build Voice of Customer (VoC) requirements into the eSourcing solution.
Follow solution methodology including vision / project charter, blueprinting, design, build, conference room pilots, go-live and production pilots.
Build use cases up-front to challenge boundaries of design space early in the process, and deliver a comprehensive and quality solution at implementation.
Become the eSourcing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the organization.
Develop training program and materials and facilitate training sessions covering eSourcing processes, tools and best practices.
Work closely with category managers and procurement team, including early engagement with new program teams. Coach employees and suppliers through initial events.
Monitor and track roll-out progress versus plan, including Key Performance Indicators (KPI) through the deployment of a metrics dashboard.
Ensure that processes and tools are in accordance with supply chain policy and procedures.
Develop new training modules that will be delivered to Harris team members as part of the Supply Chain Excellence Academy (SCEA) initiative.
Lead follow-on strategic initiatives aimed at continuously improving the organization’s supply chain processes, tools and capabilities.
Travel approximately 15-25%
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or Finance.
7+ years of relevant work experience including 3+ years of strategic eSourcing / commodity management in a manufacturing and/or product design environment.
Hands-on experience planning and executing eSourcing / eAuction events.
Prior experience or interest in learning IT concepts, database architecture, servers and systems.
Proficient in MS suite Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
MBA or graduate degree in related field.
Project management experience designing / launching a new ERP, MRP or procurement system.
Strong business acumen balanced with technical aptitude.
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
Highly self-motivated with ability to drive positive change by team building and gaining support from people and resources across the enterprise.
Six Sigma or lean certification and demonstrated success implementing greenbelt or blackbelt projects.
CPSM, APICS or other supply chain management certification.
