Job Description:

Harris is seeking a Full Lifecycle Corporate Recruiter. This position will responsible for sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and managing candidate relationships in order to place new hire exempt and nonexempt employees for the Corporate Headquarters positions. The ability to develop strong communication channels with internal and external clients is crucial to success in this position. To achieve this, the right individual must provide “World Class Service” to candidates and internal clients, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism and expressing the highest sense of urgency. This position requires recruitment of all levels of talent, spanning multiple skill bases.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Demonstrate ability to apply a business mindset to the talent acquisition function

  • Leverage data and market intelligence to develop and execute staffing strategies

  • Successfully blend diversity, regulatory requirements and business strategy throughout the recruitment process

  • Proactive tracking of progress and all work in our applicant tracking system (PeopleFluent).

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the external recruiting landscape within their function

  • Ability to successfully source and attract passive external talent using multiple sources including Boolean search methodology and execution

  • Attain a high-level understanding of our business, program, technological and cultural challenges

  • Demonstrate uncompromising ethical standards, integrity and respect for people

  • Maintain composure under stress and understand how externalized emotions impact others

  • Serve as a steward of the company; placing the needs of the company/ department before personal goals

  • Influence hiring managers, executives, candidates and peers by developing trusting relationships

  • Operate with a high sense of urgency (action-oriented)

  • Consistently promote and adhere to compliance, diversity and talent acquisition processes

  • Self-govern staffing data (always ensures integrity of values captured)

  • Accurately assesses candidates (via in-person or phone) for cultural, competency and skill fit

  • Quickly synthesizes candidate and hiring manager feedback

  • Routinely pre-close candidates (early in the process) to ensure high acceptance rates- Effectively partner with sourcing team to ensure pipeline targets meet business objectives


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and 0-2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with OFCCP compliance

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems including PeopleFluent

  • Previous experience in agency and/or corporate recruiting

  • Previous experience sourcing, evaluating, and recruiting both functional and technical roles

  • Progressive knowledge and expertise in sourcing methodologies, candidate assessment/interviewing, selection of talent, and closing strategies (negotiations, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of Boolean search methodology and execution

  • Strong experience with Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, outlook)

  • Strong organizational and communication (written & verbal) skills.

  • Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity

  • Understanding of U.S.employment law
