Work with Engineering and Operations to provide support for contamination control of processes that manufacture components used in night vision hardware. Job functions include developing process contamination requirements, writing and implementing contamination control plans, managing cleanliness audits, developing and leading contamination control training and supporting clean room operations.
Providing contamination control expertise including the generation of test plans, test reports, Standard Operating Procedures, and technical articles
Design, execute and analyze partition studies to evaluate process results or equipment baseline performances with a view to achieve industry competitive standards
Performing particle characterization and contaminant identification, specifically with emphasis on cleaning of manufactured parts and fixtures
Cleaning process development and monitoring of clean room environments.
Hiring and developing staff to support contamination control program
Leading Continuous Improvement Projects (HBX)
Able to work in a clean room environment
Able to work overtime, shift work or extended shifts, weekends or holidays
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Experience working on integrated optical or sensor products
Familiar with contamination control methodologies; including precision cleaning processes, verification techniques, outgassing analysis, thermal vacuum bake out, visual inspections, and clean room operations
Experience with molecular and particulate contamination source, transport and deposition phenomena and techniques for analysis
Developing and reviewing engineering documentation that preferable includes: test plans and procedures, design documentation, materials and processes specifications
Experience with clean room certification standards FED-STD-209 and ISO 14644
Experience with particle and molecular contamination sampling and monitoring techniques
Familiarity with standard testing techniques (e.g.: ASTM-E-595, ASTM-E-1559, ASTM-E-1216, ASTM-E-1235).
Experience interfacing with cross functional teams, including customer and management representatives
Able to solve complex process/product manufacturing problems and effectively implement solutions
Able to create and execute process development tests or root cause investigations
Laboratory equipment such as FTIR, XRF, SEM light microscopes, wet chemistry, and Karl Fisher titration methodologies
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Effective organization communication skills
