Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings and other internal meetings to support shipment of customer proposals.
Compare and qualify subcontractor estimates; along with educate the business on strategic suppliers and provide direction to the business on supplier selection
Prepare and submit costs, estimates, weekly progress reports and cost tracking reports.
Analyze A&E drawings, site conditions and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates
Effectively communicate with internal customers, architects, subcontractors and/or suppliers to prepare estimates for all jobs, review quotes for accuracy and scope
To discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues submit proposals and bid packages within provided due dates
Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
Review change orders and inform program manager(s) immediately of any issues and discrepancies
Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Develop a sourcing strategy for site development commodity that incorporates customer requirements, product requirements, market conditions, business risk, and supplier capabilities
Develop and maintain knowledge of best practices, market conditions, trends, sources of supply and supplier capabilities for materials, equipment and services within the site develop commodities
Resolve complex problems relating to supplier quality and service, contract disputes, and other discrepancies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management or other related fields and a minimum of 9 years experience as an Construction Estimator/Assistant Project Manager, Procurement or other related fieldsorMaster's Degree in Business, Construction Management or other related fields and a minimum of 7 years experience as an Construction Estimator/Assistant Project Manager, Procurement or other related fields

Demonstrated negotiation skills
Additional experience in all facets of construction
Organized and detail-oriented team player
Ability to communicate professionally, verbal and written
Flexible and comfortable with short deadlines
Ability to balance and maintain multiple projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint)
PMP certification, Land mobile radio and/or cellular radio communications Industry experience preferred and knowledge of industry-specific construction and grounding requirements; Familiarity with small, minority, local business enterprise requirements relating to site development
