Job Description:

Government communications system bids and proposals. Identify needs and develop scopes of work for project implementation. Prepare plan and schedule for project implementation. Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet customer requirements. Operate within a cross-functional team of internal and external resources to obtain quotes for services (e.g., project management, engineering, installation, training) and equipment (e.g. towers, shelters, generators) required for project implementation. Prepare proposal documentation of project management processes, implementation, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, compliance statements, etc. Requires up to 10% travel.


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 0-3 years of experience in estimating, budgeting, administering and executing projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in direct interaction with customers

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience with or knowledge of land mobile radio systems

  • Experience with construction and installation of telecommunications equipment and site facilities

  • Experience with Federal Government programs and procurements

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team

  • Ability to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently and proactively on assigned projects without significant outside direction
