Microsoft Windows Systems Administrator to support multiple locations in the Colorado Springs area
Provide Windows systems desktop support for engineering programs; including support for multiple Windows OS variants (Windows 7, 10, server 2008R2, 2012), troubleshooting and resolving end user issues
Provide end-user client and application support. Utilize the IT work order system and meet all service level agreements
Interface and coordinate with Security, desktop, helpdesk, and network groups
Configure and maintain adequate network security devices (firewalls, authentication systems, cryptography for network services)
Provide end user support and apply DISA STIGS for SIPRNet network workstations and servers as required
Document new and existing network/system topologies as required
Interface and coordinate with program management IS security for IT related tasks
Must be able to travel to multiple sites in the Colorado Springs area on a daily basis
BS degree in IT, MIS, or a related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows based SIPRNet management. This includes DISA STIGS, and HBSS experience.
3+ years’ experience managing windows operating systems
Experience with network architecture, desktop support, ports /protocols and encryption for the Microsoft Windows environment.
Experience scripting in Microsoft PowerShell
Experience creating and managing Group Policy for Windows
Preferred Additional Skills:
CompTIA Security+ or CISSP Certification, DoD 8570 IAT Level II
Microsoft Windows server 2012 MCP or higher certification
Microsoft Windows 7/10 MCP
Cisco CCENT or higher certification
Experience managing SIPRNet networks and systems
Familiarity with ICD-503 Risk Management Frame work process
Knowledge of COMSEC network encryption devices KG-175, KIV-7M
Experience implementing Network security policies
Experience with VMWare technologies
Experience with Commvault Enterprise backup software
Experience with NetApp storage systems
Experience managing Microsoft SharePoint services
Experience managing Microsoft Exchange services
Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems
Possess a strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team membes
