Perform the technical planning, system development, system integration, verification and validation
Ensure the logical and systemic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements, and allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Perform systems architectural development
Cost, Risk, Supportability and Effectiveness analyses for total systems (concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance & disposal)
Work in a highly dynamic hardware & software development and integration lab
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related field
6+ years of relevant work experience with the following:
Test and troubleshooting of power and analog circuits.
Schematic entry, simulation, and analysis of power and analog circuits.
Producing technical documentation including: review materials for customers, performance requirements, test plans, and analysis reports.
Capability to develop and conduct electrical tests to include troubleshooting
Practical hands-on experience including AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion with various topologies (isolated and non-isolated) that meet the power and EMI requirements described under MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160 is preferred.
High Voltage techniques and experience with TWT’s a plus
High voltage design, low power, ultra-dense, electronic packaging, miniature electronic devices, magnetics, EMI filtering, power supply control theory, manufacturing of power supply and/or high voltage circuits. Experience with closed loop feedback systems
Experience with Failure Analysis of high voltage power supplies.
Effectively communicate design and engineering requirements
Able to work as part of a cross functional team
Preferred Additional Skills:
RF Source and measurement instruments (i.e. Spectrum analyzer, Vector Analyzer)
Probability, statistics, random processes, communications theory, estimation theory, digital signal processing
Knowledge of National Instruments Labview test programming language
Experience in the use and programming of RF Source and measurement instruments i.e. Spectrum & Vector Analyzers, RF Sources, Oscilloscopes, RF Power meters, etc.
Prior engagement with project engineering to provide system solutions within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
