Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule – (Every other Friday is a non-workday.)
Job Description:
Primary job duty to work as a specialist in image processing and software integration as part of an integrated team developing algorithms, software, and related products supporting the exploitation of video for ISR applications.
Essential Functions:
Develop algorithms and methods for video and image exploitation.
Ability to work in a C++ development environment.
Understanding of the impact of real-time constraints on system design.
Ability to work in an agile process team.
Ability to use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teamcenter, MS Office, etc.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, Optics, or a related field is strongly desired. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Must have demonstrated ability in relevant development areas and project sizes.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.
Have worked with or developed software for ISR systems in the past.
Experience with shipboard or airborne mission systems.
An active DoD Secret clearance at start date.
