FSO/Contractor Program Security Officer - St. Louis, MO

Candidate should have experience as an FSO or alternate FSO in a possessing facility and will be responsible for serving as Facility Security Officer (FSO) and providing security administration of Collateral and SCI programs, studies, and pursuits for the Mission Information Systems Business area, St. Louis facility.
•Implement policies to include DoD and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) as necessary. •Maintain accountability of and control access to classified materials, areas, safes, combinations, alarm systems, access control systems and badging. •Act as site POC for contract performance by local alarm Service Company. •Conduct afterhours response to intrusion alarm notification. •Posses working knowledge of GSA approved combination locks with preferred ability to change combinations. •Individual requires knowledge of JPAS and clearance processing; Obtaining and operating aSecret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet); COMSEC; Document Control, and visitor control procedures. •Individual will require strong organization skills to implement and maintain positive control of classified documentation and equipment. •Must possess an active TS/SCI, or Top Secret clearance with current SSBI. •Advises Program Management and staff in the interpretation of security policies and the development of plans and procedures to meet customer security requirements.•Participates in recruiting activities, screens potential hires for the ability to obtain clearances, and coordinates with Staffing on new hire start dates and processing.•Prepares and presents security education programs and conducts Self inspections.
•BS/BA degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of 6 years related experience required and mustpossess an active TS/SCI, or Top Secret clearance with current SSBI.•Strong background in program security and must be cognizant of government security requirements.•Knowledge and practical application of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and knowledge of government security requirement required. •Individual requires knowledge of JPAS and clearance processing, and be familiar with the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) process and operations.
Preferred Additional Skills:
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate activities within deadlines.•Must be able to interact with senior/executive management on matters pertaining to security policy and procedures. •Excellent writing, speaking and customer skills are required.
