Job Description:

  • Leads and sets the strategic direction for the Enterprise Asset Management department.

  • Manages and continuously improves the processes, systems, procedures, records and methodologies necessary for effective and efficient management of Government, customer and company assets.

  • Ensures the compliant status of GCS’s Government Property Management System.

  • Serves as the primary interface to customers, auditors, senior management and other internal stakeholders for all asset management matters.

  • Oversees internal assessments and external audits related to Government Property and Capital Asset Management.

  • Develops and implements Harris Business Excellence (HBX) improvements related to management of the customer and company asset portfolio.

  • Generates and analyzes asset management metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate business risks.

  • Provides training to Enterprise Asset Management and company personnel on the application of asset management regulations and processes.

  • Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, work assignments and performance summary reviews.

Qualifications:

  • BS/ BA, (or equivalent,) and a minimum of 6 plus years of related experience in a leadership capacity in asset management or related fields. Masters with 4 plus years experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Thorough working knowledge of contractual requirements related to Government Property Management including FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, DFARS property management clauses, FAA AMS 3.10.3 and others.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) related to capital asset management.

  • Written, verbal and presentation skills including familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint are preferred.

  • Data analysis skills including familiarity with Microsoft Excel formulas, charts and pivot tables are preferred.

  • Leadership skills with proven ability to drive operational excellence, is preferred.

  • Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) certification is preferred but not required.

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar discipline is preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management and Finance concepts is preferred.

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
