Position Description:

The Harris Corporation Goldwing Program is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Tiger Teams, reviewing specifications and test procedures, developing and troubleshooting test activities, analyzing test results, generating management and customer presentations, participating in SW CCB and subcontracts oversight, performing risk assessment and developing mitigations, and performing triage and prioritizing defect resolution to ensure the Goldwing system meets the complex functional and performance requirements.


  • Electrical Engineer with multiple years of Project and System Engineering experience

  • Knowledge of Hardware including RF, Analog, Digital

  • Knowledge of Software and FPGA development processes

  • Knowledge of Cellular Systems

  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing

  • Experience with trouble shooting and root cause analysis

  • Team Leadership

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Positive team spirit

  • Skilled project-lead able to pull a cross-functional team together with SMEs and lead them in troubleshooting, closing and satisfying Customer expectations


  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering field

  • 10+ years’ experience in software and hardware development, integration and test
