Job Description:

The Harris HR Total Rewards Team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation Analyst. In this role, the Compensation Analyst will be primarily responsible for compensation programs and research and analysis for the overall segment. This role provides the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements for Total Rewards processes, support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and recommend solutions to business challenges based on relevant data analysis.

  • Performs research and analysis to support the development, implementation, and administration of various compensation programs in partnership with the HR team.

  • Serves as a strategic compensation business partner to ensure that compensation practices /programs are in support of short and long-term business objectives.

  • Partners with appropriate stakeholders on compensation related projects as assigned (i.e., Job Structure design and implementation, etc.).

  • Ensures compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws, including but not limited to FLSA.

  • Supports annual compensation planning process, inclusive of merit, promotion and incentive planning.

  • Conducts compensation analysis, inclusive of recommendations for new hires, internal promotions, counteroffers, etc.

  • Provides ad-hoc workforce analytics to the ES Total Rewards Team, as required.

  • Serves as a liaison to Finance Organization as it relates to compensation audits.

  • Partners with HRBP's on FLSA reviews and job leveling analysis to drive internal and external competitiveness and maintain compliance with company policy.

  • Performs other duties as requested by HR Leaders.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

  • 7+ years of global compensation, reporting and analysis experience.

  • CCP Certification strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in performing research and analysis to support the development, implementation, and administration of various compensation programs.

  • Successful experience leading Compensation projects with multiple stakeholders and meeting deliverable requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability in job description preparation,job evaluation, market analysis and annual compensation planning.

  • Possess highly developed communication skills, including excellent verbal skills and the ability to develop and deliver presentations and reports.

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook; must be able to effectively use excel for reporting and data analysis (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, If statements, and advanced formulas).

  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Tableau preferred.
